I never met Ed - I just knew him from his comics and the Cartoonist Kayfabe channel. He was funny, positive and upbeat- someone I would have been friends with. CK was a beacon of light for an industry that has suffered and struggled to be viable for its creators. The channel seemed to gain in popularity so fast and everybody in Comics seemed to watched it. Ed’s enthusiasm for the medium was infectious. We were all in there, in the room with them -looking through the comics- having flashbacks of the times we first saw them . We remembered fondly , and Ed and Jim were there to walk us through, with funny anecdotes and comments -He kept us giggling the whole time. As someone who now works from home it gets lonely, and to have a YouTube channel that was positive and upbeat was something that I looked forward to. I would listen first thing in the morning to their new videos. I would go back and listen to the old videos, they had a good selection of interviews and comic history- all of it I found captivating. I wish Ed could’ve found the strength to make it through. It all seems so senseless —it sounds like he had friends and family around him but for some reason he couldn’t deal with the attacks. feel so terrible and sad - I feel a loss—and I never met him- I think we all felt like we knew him- there was an Ed in all of us - an excited kid - wanting to create funny stories, words and pictures for people to read. He just wanted to be happy. A simple life. That’s all anyone wants. And it all seemed to end so quick, so senseless - I’m going to pray for his family and friends I can’t even imagine what they’re going through.
Peace my friend - hopefully we’ll meet in the great beyond.

Chaotika has been put through a lot of shit in the last couple of years. She's been kidnapped and tortured by the Coalition, forced to participate in the destruction of Paradise City, and witnessed the death of both of her brothers. Who could blame her if she doesn't give a shit about anything other than getting drunk and getting fucked. As luck would have it, the universe (and the government) isn't done fucking with her, just yet.
BULLETPROOF - Part One - BUSTED; is a 24 page full color, action packed comic book with multiple cover variants, original art, sketch covers, back issues and more! Written by John Rhodes, illustrated by Rully Akbar and colored by Avery Ferdinand. Rated M for nudity, language, and adult situations. The project survey will require you to attest that you are of legal age to view adult materials in your country.
This book is already complete and should be ready to be printed (by Comics Well Spring) and shipped to you in April 2024.
